Access
We park in the Heimat Museum paid parking lot in Lehn. Alternatively, you can arrive at the nearby Längenfeld Lehner Au bus stop by taking the bus line that runs through the Ötztal valley.
Approach to start
Follow the marked path up through the forest, cross a steel bridge, and you will arrive shortly at the start of the cable.
The route
You can expect a lot of metal footholds and a tight cable. Where the main C route and the D/E variant split, there is also an optional, shorter D/E overhanging section that you can try.
The more challenging D/E variant was added in 2014 and is longer than this short D/E test piece. You can see the line marked by many brackets on the overhanging wall. The variant ends with a cable bridge over the raging water, which can also be accessed from the regular route.
Descent
Go left toward the descent path, which you will follow down to the car park.
Good to know
- Jubiläums means “anniversary” in English.
- Nearby ferrata Reinhard Schiestl (D) can be an additional climb on the same day.
- Even closer is Klettergarten Oberried, a rock climbing crag.
