Access
From the town of Bad Goisern near Lake Hallstatt, follow a winding road approximately 6 km long, heading east and then north, until you reach the Predigstuhl car park, located across from a hotel.
Approach to start
Proceed past the barrier and follow the forest road in a northeast direction. After about 15 minutes, you’ll notice a steep trail on your left leading to the start of the Predigstuhl via ferrata. Do not take this trail; instead, continue along the main forest road. Just before the next large bend in the road, turn left and begin ascending the footpath that will take you to the start of this via ferrata.
The route
The Mein Land – Dein Land via ferrata begins in a narrow, dark crack between two rock walls. Along the route, you’ll cross a wire bridge, climb a ladder, and rely on friction to traverse rock slabs.
Descent
From the exit, continue towards Predigstuhl and descend steeply just before reaching the summit. This descent will lead you back to the forest road you used on your approach, which will then take you back to the car park.
